What you'll be doing...

  • Join client as we continue to expand our industry-leading network to improve the ways people, businesses, and things connect.
  • As a Network Operations Engineer, you will provide technical expertise on a critical role involving network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance.
  • You will be responsible for providing support to keep things running smoothly and change the way that our customers live, work, and play.
  • We are a 24x7 highly visible Operations environment that performs troubleshooting, configuration changes, drive issues to resolution, and related functions.
  • Performing optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems and applications to identify overall system availability and performance.
  • Evaluating network coverage to find gaps, making recommendations to improve coverage, and helping to implement those recommendations.
  • Performing triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events.
  • Generating, driving, and updating problem-tracking tickets via multiple systems and continuously improving business practices.
  • Escalating issues to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution.
  • Assisting with the cell site build program and switch inventory management.
  • Assist with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for the field Team.
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving for the field Team.
  • Assist with PO creation and completing.
  • Assist field team with managing power company accounts.
  • Assist field team with various remote support when needed.

Experience navigating and working well at all levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing network environment. You are dependable and enjoy supporting the rotational needs of a technical environment.

You'll need to have:

• Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.

• Three or more years of relevant work experience.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and technologies like Telephony Switching, Data Communications and Network Routers.

• Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations.

• Vendor management experience.
