Job Description:
Our client, Pharma Industry is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technicianyou will be part of the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have to modify and install electrical and control systems to correct issues, enhance performance, and complete corrective activities, use electrical testing equipment including multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, meggers etc. in a safe manner to troubleshoot issues and read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Network Automation Technician (PM Shift) Location:Rocky Mount, NC Pay:$35/hr Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and leads small project teams.
  • Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management and team participation skills.
  • Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
  • Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
Requirements
  • Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking.
  • SQL, Java, C++, Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge and certificates would be a bonus.
  • CompTIA, Cisco, Palo Alto certifications a big plus
  • Familiarity with remote desktop/ VNC, ticketing and help desk systems
  • Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Teamwork spirit, good communication skills and training abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills {written and oral}
