You can learn more at The Role: Presidio Federal is seeking a highly skilled Network Consultant with technical field expertise to support our federal clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in LiveAction software and its related components. They must be willing to serve as a point of escalation for any network related issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and go-to resource for all LiveAction-related matters, including software, integrations, and best practices
- Exhibit strong networking background and demonstrate senior-level expertise in Layer 2 and 3 technologies (e.g., 802.1q, STP, IGP, IP routing protocols) and proficiency with Cisco routing and switching platforms
- Identify gaps and implement solutions to optimize LiveAction deployment within the customer's environment
- Integrate LiveAction with third-party platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Lead network design/optimization sessions, presenting solutions to overcome challenges and improve efficiency
- Develop implementation plans for incorporating solutions into the customer's network environment
- Provide technical guidance for LiveNX, LiveWire, and ThreatEye configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network operations, security, and application teams) to understand requirements and develop tailored LiveAction solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain LiveAction monitoring/reporting solutions to meet business needs
- Continuously monitor LiveAction performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay updated on LiveAction features/best practices, and recommend adoption
- Develop comprehensive documentation (guidelines, troubleshooting procedures, user manuals)
- Provide training and support on LiveAction functionalities and best practices
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and LiveAction vendor, escalating issues and coordinating support as needed
- Understand the customer's technical and political environment, escalating to the Team Lead when appropriate
- Participate in improving project documentation and implementation processes
- Troubleshoot integrated technology issues and maintain accurate records
- Serve the Federal customer to Presidio's professional standards
- Complete other duties/tasks as assigned
- Ability to work on-site and be on-call as needed
Position RequirementsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expert-level knowledge of LiveAction LiveNX, LiveWire, and ThreatEye
- Senior-level knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experienced with the LiveAction integration with third-party platforms
- Experienced using Word, Excel, and Visio
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
- Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the design and implementation of network infrastructure
- Minimum 5 years of practical hands-on experience with LiveAction LiveNX
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise or equivalent certification
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Must be a US Citizen and be clearable or hold a Government Clearance (Active TS is preferred)
