Job DescriptionPosition Name: Network Design and Deployment Expert Role: Network Design and Deployment Engineer - CCIE Expert Location: Philadelphia, PA ( Hybrid Role) FULL TIME ROLE (Looking for someone who can work only on our W2)Role: Network Design and Deployment Engineer - CCIE Expert We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Design and Deployment Engineer (Service Provider Background) with CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network infrastructures. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable network solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Architecture:
- Design and architect network solutions that meet client and business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive network designs, including high-level and detailed design documents, diagrams, and configuration templates.
- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and products.
- Deployment and Implementation:
- Lead the deployment and implementation of network infrastructure projects.
- Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Conduct network testing and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide advanced technical support for network issues, acting as an escalation point for complex problems.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, performance issues, and security incidents.
- Work closely with vendor support to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Client Interaction and Communication:
- Serve as a technical advisor for clients and internal stakeholders during project planning and execution.
- Conduct training sessions for client and internal IT teams on network management and best practices.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, project plans, and status reports.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for network optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge bases, standards, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and design.
- Proven experience in deploying and managing complex network infrastructures.
- Technical Skills:
- CCIE Routing & Switching and / CCIE Data Center certification (active status required).
- Proficient in designing and deploying solutions with Cisco technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS).
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco Prime,SolarWinds).
- Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Preferred Certifications:
