Network Engineer 2, UHS Phelps Hall United Health Services is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to join our IS Infrastructure and Server Support department at UHS Phelps Hall in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift. Day. Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience. Overview. Design, implement, maintain and support communication networks within UHS and between UHS and other organizations. Maximize/optimize network performance /utilization by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, implementing upgrades and developing infrastructure recommendations. Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access, participate in/perform security audits/assessments and implement security related recommendations. Qualifications. Education/ Experience. Minimum Required:Associates Degree or 8 years experience in IT Networking field.
