FAQs page.Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: - Designs and deploys functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
- Configures and installs various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN).
- Develops and executes network plans and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: - Monitors network performance and integrity.
- Resolves network issues promptly and efficiently.
- Performs network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Security and Compliance: - Implements security measures and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conducts regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Maintains and updates network security protocols.
Documentation and Reporting: - Maintains accurate network documentation and creates detailed network diagrams.
- Prepares and presents reports on network performance, security, and usage.
Collaboration and Support: - Works closely with IT team members, providing technical support and guidance.
- Collaborates with other departments to understand their networking needs and provides solutions.
- Trains and mentors junior network staff.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in network architecture and security, with a focus on cloud network architecture and security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures, including but not limited to TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, SD-WAN, Routing Protocols, VoIP and cloud networking
- Proven experience in developing and implementing global network architecture strategies within a large-scale enterprise environment
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, as well as security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and authentication protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and propose effective solutions
- Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading network-related projects from initiation to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
