Network Engineer On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a skilled Operations Network Support Engineer to oversee and maintain the stability and security of network operations. This role requires proficiency in script development, device configuration management, system administration, hardware and software support, as well as security and troubleshooting. The position also involves designing, developing, integrating, and enhancing network solutions to support business needs and project goals. The successful candidate will document and refine operational procedures and deliver end-user support as necessary. Network Engineer Job Details - Develop and maintain scripts to support network operations. - Manage device configurations and perform system administration. - Provide hardware and software support and conduct regular maintenance. - Troubleshoot and secure the network environment to ensure optimal performance. - Design, develop, integrate, and enhance network solutions to meet business and project requirements. - Document and develop operational procedures to improve efficiency. - Offer end-user support and troubleshooting assistance as needed. Network Engineer Mandatory Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university OR equivalent experience in system management or network engineering. - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network engineering or operations support. - Associate-level experience in network engineering. - Proficiency with networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS). - Strong knowledge of OSI or TCP/IP models. - Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools. - Familiarity with cloud environments. - Previous experience as a Network Administrator, specifically in environments supporting critical systems and delivering technical solutions.
