Job DescriptionOverview As a Network Engineer III at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to help build out and lead the FBG Network Engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and maintaining hybrid network architecture and operational processes within Fanatics Betting and Gaming. You will partner with broader organizations and collaborate with systems and software engineers in multiple domains and verticals. You will be an expert technologist with experience in hybrid networking infrastructure. Responsibilities
  • Drive operational excellence to ensure maximum efficiency and operational uptime, by focusing on hybrid network infrastructures' security, performance, and reliability
  • Lead network security by managing network edge devices with ZTNA (zero-trust network access)
  • Build, manage, and automate network deployment to support Fanatics Betting and Gaming's rapid growth worldwide
  • Leverage APIs and network automation tools to support network services programmatically
  • Provide network support by leading incident and problem management, technical reviews, documentations, office build-outs, and network redundancy testing
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborate with leaders to provide guidelines and best practices of the data networking strategy
  • Communicate, develop, and implement a data-driven engineering strategy, approach, and roadmap for Engineering needs.
  • On call rotation - occasional calls after business hours and on weekends
  • Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant networking experience using modern technologies and centralized management (i.e. Aruba, Palo Alto, AWS)
  • 5+ years of SD-WAN planning, designing, implementation, and operations
  • 3+ Solid knowledge with Unix/Linux skills and the ability to script with at least one modern language, such as Python, Jinja, Terraform, and experiences in Network Automation Tools
  • Proficient with network security fundamentals and experiences with modern firewall technologies (i.e. 802.1x, IPSec VPN), and zero-trust network security
  • Proficient with DNS/Route53, AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting), TACACS/RADIUS and IdP/SSO
  • Experience working in a high-growth enterprise environment
Preferred
  • Experience with configuring and managing zero-trust network access control solutions (i.e. Twingate, Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ISE, ZScaler)
  • Experience designing, managing, and supporting networking in the Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Certifications (AWS Advanced Networking Specialist, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CCNP/JNCIP, ACDP, ACCP) is a plus
  • Knowledge of IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and Operational Excellence concepts or methodologies

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $240,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. *Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country of residence.
