Position: Network Cisco ACI SME Location: Lansing , MI (Onsite) Job Type: Contract EXP- 12+ Roles and Responsibilities: The role requires a flexible, senior/lead engineer who can manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Manage the P1/P2 MIM bridges and handle customer escalations. Should be flexible and instrumental in addressing customer expectations in business & non-business hours efficiently. Deploy Network infrastructure and execute services covering the installations, testing, cutover, migration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to design, manage a WAN, LAN network with complex network technology.
- Responsibility for various stages of the network development. This may include: design, analysis, configuration, testing and fixing issues with the network infrastructure or application components
- Troubleshooting of Catalyst / Nexus switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, ASR / ISR routers.
- To assist in the planning, design, and implementation, of data network projects.
- Provide technical support for projects as required
- Advance trouble shooting on operational issues (L3 -Level)
- Configure and utilize a variety of network management tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow)
- Should be able to support EST working hours, working in shifts and on-call support
Skills required: - Should have 12-14+ years of experience.
- Must have: Strong understanding Cisco ACI - SDN and worked on installation/operations of the ACI environment. (Primary Skill)
- Strong Knowledge and hands on experience in Cisco catalyst switches and Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k etc.
- Must have: Strong understanding Cisco Firepower (Secondary Skill)
- Knowledge and hands on experience in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS in enterprise or service provider networks
- Strong knowledge on VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, AAA, PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco ISE).
- Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, firewalls.
- installation/operations of the ACI environment.
- Hands-on experience on F5 Load balancer (LTM, GTM)
- Preferred to have: Strong Knowledge on Cloud networking in Oracle cloud & Azure cloud.
- Good to have: Knowledge on Cisco Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi 6.0
- Good to have: Knowledge on ISE implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting
