Responsibilities:
Peraton has an immediate need for an Network Engineer in South Korea.
In this role, you will:
- Design and plan network communications systems.
- Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Conduct testing of network design.
- Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
- Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
- Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, bridges, gateways, etc.
- Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience with Networking Engineering and System Integration. May consider a HS diploma with a minimum 6 years of experience with Networking Engineering and System Integration in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills.
- IAT or IAM Level I certification.
- An active Secret security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)
Desired:
- Knowledge and understanding of change management procedures and how it effects operational networks.
- Ability to design and develop implementation plans for networks and security devices.
- Ability to document network and system architecture via Microsoft Visio.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
