Job Title: Network Engineer Job Location: West Des Moines, IA Job Type: Contract Job Duration: Long Term. Bill rate: 42/hr Job Description: - 1 to 3 years of IT experience required Some level of data center experience with rack and stack.
- Atleast 2 years on-prem data center experience supporting the data center equipment and infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)
- Troubleshooting end user connectivity issues Ability to work with various vendors and responsible for network assets and tools
- A+/Network+ level of knowledge required
- Good understanding of OSI layer and network principles
- Good understanding of OSI layer and network principles
- Comfortable with text based VLANs
- Troubleshoot L1 issues within Network
- Experience in troubleshooting routing, switching, and firewall (Palo Altos) issues.
- Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA for Ticket management
