Covia is looking for a dynamic Network Network Engineer who will have a positive impact on the Information Technology team at its Independence, OH location. This position will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing and optimizing new and existing voice and data networking solutions. This person will ensure reliable network operation across multiple data centers, plants, production facilities and offices. This hands on individual will assist with the network architecture and design, engineering and administration for all network, telecommunications and security related hardware and software components. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting uptime and reliability service level agreements across the entire Covia enterprise network infrastructure.
This Network Engineer will ensure timely incident and problem resolution while maintaining strict adherence to change and knowledge management procedures. This individual must have a proven track record of installing, maintaining and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures. Additionally, this position will require the ability to lead initiatives around the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of current and emerging network technology solutions.
