Responsibilities:

• Assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems (including wireless) of moderate complexity.
• Participates in network planning, network architecture design and engineering. Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
• Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications.
• Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills:

• The team provide network services to the clients
• This is a role for a Network Engineer
• Need someone to function as a network project integrator
• The candidate will be handling external facing work, taking to the customers
• Need someone with Telecommunications background, Someone who has worked on major telecom company (e.g. Version and AT &T)
• The team manages external routers for customers
• Candidate must has Cisco-Routing, Switching experience
• 3-5 years hands on configuring experience routers, Shipping them out to vendors, TCP/IP
• The candidate must be local to Richmond, VA
• The candidate will be working with high performing team
• Must be good at problem solving
• Team Size-7 people
• This is a 2 year project
• Staging and shipping of devices-router replacement to all DI customers
• 1000 devices that need to be staged and shipped for circuit provisioning
