We are seeking a self-starting and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to assist with the development and sustainment of multiple Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization packages in support of various Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).Render is looking for a Network Engineer, Senior to join our highly competent and motivated Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) team supporting work on-site in St. lnigoes, Maryland.Functional Description:Demonstrated capability in one or more of the Information Technology core areas; Computer System Engineering; Computer System Services; Data Management Services; Modeling, Analysis and Simulation; Professional Support Services; Test, Analysis and Evaluation; and Systems Integration. Experience in systems development, analysis or design. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis techniques, system design concepts, computer programming and the ability to work with end users to develop system designs from end users' specifications.Job Description:This position will serve as the NAWC's on-site liaison supporting ongoing and future IT networking/communications efforts under a fast-moving, highly rewarding program. Primary responsibilities include: Full life cycle support for local and wide area network infrastructure and connected devicesInstallation and configuration of networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, in-line encryption, etc.)Troubleshooting/fault isolation of technical issuesImplementation, maintenance, and monitoring of network security measuresOversight and mentorship of subordinate staffMust have an active Department of Defense Security Clearance Required Qualifications:Education Requirements:Education includes completion of a Master's Degree and/or Ph.D. with a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or IT-related field.Experience Requirements:Minimum experience includes more than 12 years of relevant experience.Desired Experience Includes: Experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP networksComprehensive experience configuring Cisco equipmentKnowledge of routing protocols and other networking technologies including OSPF, RIP, VRF, VLAN, MPLS, IP multicast, IP QoS, and IPSecExperience managing network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, cryptographic equipment, etc.)Active DoD8140/DoD 8570 certificationExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience with Microsoft Visio Additional Qualifications (but not required): CCNP certificationWSUS or RedHAT Satellite Server experienceExperience implementing DISA STIGs, group policies, and HBSS Render offers exciting opportunities for professional growth, leave benefits, participating in 401(k) with matching opportunities consistent with plan qualifications. This position has an annual salary range of $90,000 to $135,000.
