PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Network Management Administrator Level 2 to supp our government customer in Baltimore, MD. Duties & Responsibilities: This position is an opportunity to become part of an exciting and dynamic team. This role will involve managing all aspects of the IP Address Management, IPAM, environment and will be responsible for driving meaningful and technologically advanced changes to its capabilities. Specific duties may include:
- Lead IPAM strategy-to-execution, aligning it to larger IT/ Network org objectives.
- Champion new designs at all levels of the environment aligned to business/customer needs while fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
- Lead the transformation to a more automated environment driving standardization, efficiencies, and rapid automated recovery during outages.
- Drive regular reviews of the customer landscape looking at opportunities for potential enhancements to the environment with strong supporting data.
- Lead incumbent vendors to improve level of service, address product issues, and drive product enhancements.
- As a senior member of the team, lead complex issue resolution with in-depth troubleshooting and defining longer-term solutions to avoid repeat issues.
- Partner with other IT teams to resolve critical issues as part of Intel's Emergency Response process.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience administering the Infoblox IPAM product
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with scripting tools, such as Python, to leverage the Infoblox API to automate tasks, analyze data, and exchange data with other systems.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a System Administration discipline with experience administering vCenter, Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with SQL for database administration and manipulation.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a DNS and IP topology administration, engineering, or architecture role.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience with the DNS, DHCP, SNMP, TACACS and RADIUS protocols.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience working with IPv4 subnetting and subnet ranges, virtual LANs (vlans), and SNMP-based network discovery.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience using and troubleshooting network management and performance monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of experience writing Python scripting language and Regular Expression
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer daily.
- Agile planning process and working with product owners and technical leaders to identify the right priorities.
- Using Data Analytics for problem solving and driving operational improvements
- Influencing non-technical and technical leaders on driving technical and business process changes into the environment
- Working across multiple geographies with a strong one team mentality
- Stakeholder management for flawless management of key customer partnerships
- Leading large self-initiated and/or customer driven projects to a successful outcome
