System Administrator position available in
Columbia, SC. If you join our team in this role, you will support a Windows Active Directory environment administering and maintaining file and print servers, domain controllers, application servers, and media storage systems.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities: - Handlle hardware installations, cabling, equipment relocations, backup media rotations, OS configurations, problem resolution, and data backup/recovery.
- Provide primary administration and support for Windows Active Directory systems, including file print servers, domain controllers, and application servers.
- Manage hardware installations, cabling support, equipment relocations, and power source support.
- Perform system updates, OS configurations, and problem resolution.
- Execute routine updates and support for desktop and laptop images using enterprise deployment techniques.
- Monitor and apply OS and security patches; support software patch updates via tools such as BigFix and Microsoft SCCM.
- Manage printer and multifunction printer systems.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and support system upgrades and changes.
- Oversee backup, restore, and recovery procedures for steady-state systems.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience: - Associate's degree in computer science or related field; OR
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; OR
- 2 years IT Help Desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment; OR
- 2 years' experience in Computer/IT operations/support in a Windows Active Directory environment
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret.
