Summary (Our future dispatching master):

We are seeking an experienced logistics dispatcher to come on board and take network operations by the horns. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will provide the best delivery experience to both sides of our customer (shipper/driver) by resolving issues, providing updates, monitoring our marketplace network, ensuring coverage, and building trust with our customers.

This role is located in greater Cincinnati.

Shift: Sun-Thurs 7am-3pm (Thursdays in-office)

Responsibilities (How you will contribute):

  • Dispatch, using modern-day FRAYT tech, by proactively ensuring each delivery happens on time
  • Maintain contact with both the shipper and driver service provider
  • Solve delivery issues with all parties involved
  • Track our shipping customers patterns of need weekly, monthly, and annually
  • Gain the trust of both shippers and drivers
  • Maintain a professional level of communication with all parties including shippers, FRAYT's sales team, driver service providers, and FRAYT's driver services team.
  • Work in tandem with the development team to ensure network issues are addressed and with the Sales team, ensure that the network changes and improvements are communicated appropriately.
  • Utilize customer service communications such as phone, Slack, Intercom, email, text, etc.
  • Complete other projects as assigned

Qualifications (What you will bring):

  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Prior experience in logistics dispatch
  • Desire to serve customers exceptionally
  • Swift and direct communication style
  • A knack for organizing and coordinating quickly
  • Familiarity with Slack team messaging and collaboration software
  • Be responsible and accountable in a hybrid work environment
  • Ability to quickly problem solve situations
  • Advanced level of computer & app acumen
  • Ability to have fun even through challenges!
