Entry Level - Network/PC Support Technician
Branchburg Board of Education
Start Date: As soon as possible - June 30, 2025
Qualifications:
* Degree in related field or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training
* Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on task are essential as the position requires many different planes of support.
* Knowledge of physical and wireless networks with ability to troubleshoot and monitor network traffic.
* This position requires comprehensive knowledge of and experience with Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Windows, mobile devices, and computer-based hardware/software in an educational environment.
* Experience supporting multimedia products including, but not limited to projectors, interactive Smart boards or TV's, digital media creation and audio/video production.
* Possess a valid NJ driver's license.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares and maintains documentation of network topology for each facility
* Provides support for all computers and mobile devices
* Computer installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting
* Handles helpdesk requests as needed
* Installs, maintains and monitors the district's computer networks components including routers, switches, wireless access, printers, phones, workstations, mobile devices.
* Responsible for managing classroom installations such as Smartboards, projectors, and sound systems
* Helps to maintain district technology equipment inventory
* Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and other network appliances
* Performs other duties as assigned
