Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage complex project implementations in the telecommunications industry. This role focuses on ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to timelines, budgets, and customer expectations. You will work on projects involving hardware additions, software upgrades, and new installations of leading telecom systems like Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, and ININ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of complex telecommunications projects, including hardware additions and software upgrades for Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, and ININ systems.
- Oversee new installations of telecommunications equipment, ensuring all technical and business objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and scope, while managing customer expectations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project completion within the defined scope and timelines.
- Prepare and present project status reports, documentation, and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven experience in hardware additions or software upgrades for Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, or ININ systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to be available and accessible to meet project deadlines as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Experience with cabling, security, government projects, SLED, and K-12 environments.
