One of Insight Global's largest Telecom clients is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their Consulting Services Organization. The ideal candidate will be able to act as a technical lead in delivery of projects specializing in security with well-versed knowledge in networking as well, ensuring that solutions remain in scope and are aligned to agreed business requirements, appropriate delivery methodologies are followed, and that effective governance is applied. You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day records of projects and an effective network of business contacts. Having strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills at multiple levels of an organization is crucial for success in this role. -Any of the following certifications; CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, PCNSA/PCNSE, CCSA/CCSE, NSE -6+ years of experience in Network Security Consulting (customer-facing) -Experience being primarily security focused, ratio of security to networking should be about 70% to 30% -Strong hands-on implementation & management experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Firewalls -Deployment experience with Proxy Services such as Bluecoat or Zscaler -Experience with F5 Load Balancers and IDP/IPS (Firepower, Sourcefire, McAfee, etc.) -Experience within Identity & Access Management (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass policy manager, etc.) -Routing & switching experience with a good knowledge of SD-WAN deployments -Working knowledge of cloud deployments, preferably Azure -Proven ability to review security processes & procedures and improve them
