- Implements and maintains computer, wireless, Wi-Fi, network, and telecommunications within the City of Laredo infrastructure.
- Installs, configures, and tests cabling, voice sets, PCs, and networking hardware to support and maintain the effective operation of the City network.
- Provides technical support to end users; troubleshoots and resolves operating system, software, and hardware issues.
- Inventories and documents detailed information of equipment and software licensing.
- Monitors network security software for suspicious or malicious connections or files.
- Will be required to drive a city vehicle for City business use.
- Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited* college or university in Network Administration
- At least one (1) year of experience in wired and wireless Cisco Networking, IP video, VOIP, windows server, desktop operations, and troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer problems
