Network/Systems Performance AnalystFull Time Shaw AFB, SCSecret Clearance**This position is contingent upon contract award**Job Description: ResponsibilitiesThe NSPA will perform analysis for collaboration of network/system needs. The NSPA's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.Job duties:
- Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware, software and services using a project-based timeline.
- Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security
- Make expert decisions and recommendations on how to resolve, improve, or prevent network problems/issues.
- Engineer, implement, and sustain network monitoring and management tools and ensure tools are properly functioning and collecting network telemetry and performance metrics to support troubleshooting and analysis functions. Develop and update IT systems concept of operations and engineering plans.
- Submit daily performance reports and ensures automates performance tools are functioning correctly. Use databases and spreadsheets to manage data for performance analysis. Manage files storage and safeguards data.
- Coordinate all efforts closely with Modeling and Simulation, Cybersecurity, and Networks to prevent overlap or conflicts of efforts, and the delivery on a single performance report daily.
- Coordinate all efforts closely with Modeling and Simulation and engineering (Systems, Network, Cybersecurity) to ensure adequate data collection and prevent overlaps or conflicts of effort.
Qualifications
- Senior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience AND SolarWinds, Netscout and Unix/Linux experience.
- Mid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience AND SolarWinds, Netscout and Unix/Linux experience.
- CCNA, SolarWinds certified Professional, NCA and ITIL Foundation required.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
