Network Technician
- Assist and organize with tissues via phone, email, and text, as well as provide resolution to all issues, as necessary.
- Troubleshoot end-user desktop issues related to networking and phone issues.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues create documentation for resolutions
- Configure and troubleshoot network connections for desktops, network equipment, and VOIP telephones.
- Have a basic understanding of WiFi networks and related wireless devices
- Have a basic understanding of network wiring.
- Assist with the creation of network infrastructure (pull needed wiring and cables, install cabinets and enclosures, terminate fiber, terminate CAT5/CAT6 cabling)
- Install basic network equipment (switches, routers, wireless equipment) not including configuration of software.
- Keep track of inventory and submit orders for restock
- Be able to work nights and weekends. Be on-call as needed.
- Be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Be able to obtain a Class D Commercial Drivers license
- Be comfortable operating machinery
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a computer related field or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
- Must have a reliable method of transportation and the ability to travel as necessary
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and typing)
- Comfortable with use of hand tools (Drills, Screwdrivers, etc)
- Task Oriented with ability to complete projects with little to no supervision.
- Ability to work in all types of environmental conditions (hot/cold, indoor/outdoor)

- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain an excellent working relationship with co-workers.
- Avid interest in technology and expanding knowledge base to stay on top of industry technology trends.

- Dependable, punctual, and solutions oriented and flexibility in the work schedule is required.
