He/She will mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks for end users and network-based services.The Senior Network Architect must have excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of network administration, architecture, and data security.The Senior Network Engineer's goal will be to establish and maintain networks that cater to B&H's business and customer needs.Responsibilities: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configure and install software, servers, routers, firewalls, Load Balancers, Wi-Fi controllers and other network devicesMonitor network performance and integrity.Resolve tier 3 support issues.Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.Mentor team members on technical issuesCreate, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)Communicate with users when needed.Maintain complete technical documentation.Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.Coordinate scheduled upgrades.Requirements and Skills: Industry-related experience as a Senior Network EngineerProfessional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP)Solid background in network administration and architectureIn-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)Familiarity with access control models and network securityKnowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl)Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)Ability to work independently.An ability to learn new technologies quickly.An ability to follow processes.Ability to create complex Visio diagrams.Organizational and mentoring skills.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
