Recently, they secured a $450M battery project with a key OEM, showcasing their industry leadership and paving the way for significant growth. Established for over 20 years, the company boasts 3,500 employees globally, with Global subsidiaries including the US. The US entity, is building out its sales team to drive its expansion into the North American market.
Description
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets in North America.
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs (e.g., Ford, Volvo, Toyota) and automotive component manufacturers (e.g., Magna, Linamar).
- Identify and engage new clients within the automotive, power battery, and general industries.
- Lead the end-to-end bidding process, including documentation, competitor analysis, and customer relationship management.
- Collaborate with internal proposal and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Prepare and implement account development plans to enhance customer relationships and drive repeat business.
Profile
- 8+ years of sales experience in the automotive or battery business, with a proven business development track record.
- Existing network or experience selling to OEMs or automotive component manufacturers.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry strategies, business models, and key success factors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable in a start-up environment within an established company.
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Chinese) are a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the US.
