Job Description The Electrical Engineer is the SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT and PRESENTER. They make sure they best represent our solutions and our company overall. The goal of the EBC is to accelerate the sales process and enhance sales growth by creating a customized customer experience. This position reports to the Customer Experience Center Director. Your role will be as a member of a larger EBC team responsible for providing consultative product and solution expertise to our customers around SE's electrical solutions. You will work with the SE sales team to understand their sales objectives, account plan, customer''s business issues, and competitive pressures to tailor your material to each customer''s specific interests. You will be the face of SE representing our power systems portfolio presenting trends and our value prop to customers both in-person and virtually You and the EBC team works closely with account managers, business development teams, sales executives, and other relationship stakeholders to offer consultative input throughout the planning process. Your role will specifically focus on some of our single-phase and three-phase power solutions such as UPS systems, switchgear, and transfer switches for data centers and associated software and services. The team must meet deadlines and deal with a range and number of people - customers, account teams, executives, suppliers, partners, and vendors--- and execute memorable briefings and events. Knowledge of power systems is a top qualification followed by strong communication and presentation skills. This position will lead EBC initiatives around all data center three-phase power solutions used in customer facing demonstrations. In addition, this position requires customer interaction, presentations and developing and conducting product demonstrations. Knowledge of the sales process, a collaborative work style and a commitment to continuous learning are critical to success.Qualifications B.S. Engineering or equivalent in certifications and experience. 5-10+ years Power Applications Engineering experience is ideal. Data center experience is preferred. Presents and demonstrates our Electrical Power Story to customers, partners, and other guests. Good business acumen. Understands Schneider Electric's customer engagement and account management process. Understands and demonstrates a keen understanding of the data center industry. Skilled at engaging all levels - From Executive to Technical customers. Develops customized presentations and demonstrations to guests. Works with Product Marketing and Technical Support to design new demonstrations in the Power Lab. Maintains lab and ensures the lab is in a constant state of readiness for all events. Captures and communicates customer insights as needed (voice of customer). Interacts with Power Product Development and marketing divisions to stay abreast of new technology. Develops relationships with product groups to receive technical and product support. Data center experience desired. Good business acumen is a plus. Team-player, strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and writing skills. Familiarity with international standards is a plus. Willingness to work hands-on, is required. Electrical industry certifications, publications, and other industry credentials, a plus
