This role involves ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Operator will collaborate closely with other team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth production operationsJob Duties: Machine Operation & Monitoring: Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures. Monitor machine performance and quality control metrics during the production process. Ensure machinery is running efficiently by making adjustments or troubleshooting minor issues as needed.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team and assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.Quality Control: Inspect products during production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and correct any quality issues promptly, reporting findings to the Quality Control team. Maintain accurate records of inspections, production, and machine performance.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Report safety hazards and unsafe working conditions to supervisors immediately. Participate in safety training sessions and follow procedures to mitigate risks.Production Documentation & Reporting: Complete and maintain production logs, including operational data, downtime, and material usage. Report production status and any operational issues to the Supervisor/Manager regularly. Track and report on daily production goals, output, and any incidents or disruptions during production.Collaboration & Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production targets and improve operational efficiency. Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements and operational challenges.Material Handling: Ensure that necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available for production runs. Assist in the loading/unloading of materials, and ensure proper handling and storage.Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing training and skill development to improve performance and adaptability.
