Job Description This is a hybrid role: 2 days/week onsite in the NY Office.Qualifications: Strong proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including demonstrated ease of use in pivot tables, formulas, Finance formatting and combining data sheets from multiple sources. Familiar with SAP EC Payroll desired or with a large-scale ERP desired. At least one to two years of experience in payroll reporting, analysis. Experience in interpreting payroll results desired. Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. Comfort with working in Zoom, Teams, and ability to train or review work in them. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; Proactive with excellent follow-up skills. Ability to multi-task and work well under deadlines.Responsibilities: Develop, prepare, and analyze Excel-based reports from SAP ECP extracts, focusing on enhancing ECP reporting accuracy for union payments, contributions, and payroll GL reconciliations. Prepare and support weekly and monthly reporting for Division Accounting Departments, utilizing Excel for comprehensive data analysis and report creation. Generate ad hoc reports based on SAP ECP extracts to support the payroll, union and Finance team. Support data verification and troubleshoot errors of payroll earnings and dues for employees and employer contributions. Research and complete external Union or Union Pension/Health Plan requests for employee information or verification of payments processed. Reconcile weekly union interface files and validate accuracy with completed union payment processes, resolving discrepancies as needed. Provide support for union audit data requests related to pension, health, or 401k employer contributions. Monthly reconciliation of Union payroll balance sheet accounts. Support calculation of adjustments for union-related deductions and contributions on ad hoc basis. Collaborate on special projects and assist with reporting initiatives to improve the accuracy.
