Job Description ***Only qualified SVP Business Analyst candidates located near the New York, NY area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Qualifications: Domain expertise across operations and finance functions and tools. Expert knowledge in end-to-end transaction lifecycle process Change management experience of large, complex implementations and transformation program expertise in finance and or operations Extensive knowledge of migration techniques and tools to ensure seamless transition of data from legacy to new general ledger platform Extensive knowledge of process improvement with a track record of streamlining operational or finance processes Good understanding of general ledger, systems, their functionalities, and best practice implementation Knowledge of both Markets and Banking products from transaction booking to cash settlement and controls therein Experience in managing software vendors and 3rd party consultant teams Ability to align operational processes with organizational strategies, with proven experience in strategic planning and executionOur client is seeking to fill a Senior Vice President position within a new team.Senior Vice President responsibilities will include: Understand, document, and syndicate the operations strategy, vision, and implementation for the strategic ledger program Undertake detailed planning of implementation steps including conversion strategies, go-live and operational readiness, run-book definition, and execution Provide program management consolidation, governance, progress tracking, and issue identification and escalation across operations footprint; participate in overall program governance Model best practice program execution and promote standardization and consistency across wider operations organization Undertake specific program management disciplines and activities e.g. Lead prioritization and status meetings and reporting, maintain program documentation and provide updates at senior forums
