Job Description:
Position Description: The New Model Group Leader will collaborate with New Model Specialists and cross functional teams (Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Packaging, Design, Suppliers, Customers, etc.) to manage milestones and activities to ensure asuccessful launch of New Models. These activities include tracking milestones of a new model launch, tracking and monitoring Engineering/Design changes, component ordering, shipping trial orders, communication with internal teams as well as suppliers and customers, coordinating low volume and high-volume production trials and reporting out launch status to upper management.Skills and Experience:The New Model Group Leader must have strong communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment. This position will require someone with strong project management skills as well as the ability to guide and motivate other people. The Group Leader must be self-motivated and be efficient in both written and verbal communication. This position will require strong computer skills, strong math skills for calculating the required volumes of components and material needed for trial and planning skills necessary to establish and maintain schedules across multiple programs.
