Hunter Truck Clarksburg, NJ is hiring!We are currently looking for an experienced New Truck Salesperson / Representative to join our energetic and committed team members at our Clarksburg, NJ location. Schedule: Full-time, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or university preferred or four years of related experience and/or training required; must have good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
  • Commercial Driver's License required (Class B preferred); must meet company insurability standards
  • Valid NJ state sales license is preferred (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Actively calls on and maintains customer base within area of responsibility (AOR)/ territory with minimum of 40 customer visits per month.
  • Strives to become a trusted business advisor for the customer by listening and learning the customer's operation and needs.
  • Creates and presents professional, specific and relevant presentations & proposals for each customer.
  • Understands the terminology of the truck business and keeps abreast of changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc.
  • Maintain Hunter proprietary customer relationship follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
  • Exhibits a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager and presents properly completed paperwork (i.e., insurance information, trade title, etc.).
  • Ensures sold trucks are ready for customer delivery (i.e., units are clean, fueled, and operational) prior to customer arrival.
  • Conducts truck delivery ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Work to maintain and build relationships with existing customers.
  • Introduces customers to parts and service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
  • Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, we-owes , and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
  • Make sales calls with self-provided dependable transportation.
  • Maintains a professional business appearance at all times.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
