. The New/Used Truck Salesperson sells used trucks by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory. Position requires a broad knowledge of the Company's services, products, and marketing techniques.
- Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory and constant aggressive telephone marketing.
- Maintain contact with customers in relation to their requirements; keep current on market and customer trends.
- Identifies and profiles prospective customers, develops and applies the strategy necessary to obtain orders.
- Make company services available to customers.
- Refers complaints and leads to proper department managers of the Company.
- Reports on competitive activity.
- Keeps records and makes reports on all phases of activities through Company CRM. (Updates and maintains customer relationship management system.)
- Writes Used Truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
- Approaches, greets, and assists any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred.
- Possessing or Capable of Acquiring a CDL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- High energy level and positive attitude.
