POSITION SUMMARY:This position provides clerical support to Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP). The data-entry clerk receives, reviews, and enters data into computer system or tracking database according to established procedures. Ensures accuracy of all data recorded and performsdatabase maintenance functions, supports DHR vision, mission and goals. POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:¨ High School/GED required¨ Computer skills required with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. ¨ Good written and verbal communication skills required. ¨ Some evening or weekend work will be required¨ Bilingual - English/Spanish.JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:¨ One to two (1-2) years of progressively responsible related experience in an office environment, medical office preferred.¨ Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.¨ Excellent data entry skills¨ Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations.RESPONSIBILITES: ¨ Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices.¨ Inputs NFP data in a timely and accurate manner into the web-based information system; complies with or assists in the compilation of statistical information for special reports. ¨ Performs program support tasks such as organizes forms; photocopies; files; orders and maintains program materials and educational handouts; makes reminder calls for visits as requested by the supervisor and nurse home visitors. ¨ Performs general clerical functions such as sorts, routes and distributes mail; types material from typed or handwritten copy; prepares correspondence, reports and other documents. ¨ Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary, and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports. ¨ Compiles a variety of resources; may participate in community outreach activities such as distributing program brochures, retrieving client referrals as delegated by the supervisor. ¨ Performs administrative assistant duties for the Nurse Family Partnership Program Director as needed.¨ Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations. ¨ Other duties as assigned.
