Job Description Cleaning/Janitorial Associate •Keep the store in immaculate condition, shelves, floors, etc. •Respond promptly to maintenance calls by attending to spills, breakage and other incidents. •Maintain sanitation and supplies of all restrooms. •Assigned tasks include: sweeping and mopping floors, replacing light bulbs, cleaning windows, emptying trash and garbage cans and other jobs required as store needs. •Properly handle products and equipment and follow sanitation practices for food safety guidelines. Physical Demands •Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for majority of time on duty. •Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. •Work with cleaning solutions and chemicals. •Use of basic tools and equipment such as a ladder, compactor, bailer and other power equipment. •Ability to wear company uniform and maintain a groomed appearance. Skills Requirements: •Friendly personality and customer service mentality. •Must be capable of learning to operate necessary equipment. •Must be able to properly use necessary cleaning supplies and hazardous materials. •Excellent time management skills.
