Job Description:

Responsible for providing consistent, courteous service to all Hotel guests, ensuring an optimal level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

  • Prepares and distributes management reports to Hotel Administration and the Finance Department.
  • Audits all guest records; verifies credit card approval and room availability.
  • Access and work with systems for redemption of offers and promotions issued by the gaming properties.
  • Posts room and tax charges to guest accounts.
  • May perform the duties of a Front Desk Agent if staffing level is inadequate.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the Casino Resort's property, as well as special events on and near property, in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible.
  • Responds to guests' requests, complaints or inquiries courteously and promptly.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or GED required. An Associate's degree is preferred; Six (6) months to one (1) year prior related experience and/or training or and equivalent combination of both is preferred. TESTING:Data Entry a minimum of 3000 KPH with 85% accuracy, score at least 84.5% in a Basic Math test, and 3000 KPH in 10-key with 85% accuracy. Must take/pass the required testing identified for this position to be considered. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess effective communication and organizational skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand financial reports, policy and procedure manuals, and technical instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The Employee is also regularly required to stand; walk 60%; sit 40%; lifting up to forty (40) pounds. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are the representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
