JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Night Audit Agent is to provide friendly, efficient registration, guest settlement, and information to all guests, fellow employees. Accurately balances and audits the hotels income and expenses for the current 24-hour period.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $14/hr. Biweekly (every two weeks)

SCHEDULE:

The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy times due to special events. We strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime, but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it.

  • Part-time: 8-29 hours per week depending on level of business forecasted
  • Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.
  • Shift options: Typically, 11PM (8 hours, projected)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Check guests in, ensure proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
    • Provide exceptional customer service with smiles and empathy.
    • Thoroughly complete all guest transactions.
    • Promote and sell special hotel programs.
    • Interact with fellow team members professionally, assisting other departments with necessary information.
    • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
    • Maintain house bank and able to handle cash.
    • Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers and Supervisors.
    • Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
    • Balance and audit hotel revenue accuracy, cashiers reports, guest, and house accounts.
    • Assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenue.
    • Any other tasks assigned by a Leadership.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of college education preferred.
  • Two years experience in a service industry, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident and mature professional able to resolve and de-escalate problems independently.
  • Computer literate.
  • Pleasant telephone demeanor.
  • Levelheaded, patient, even tempered demeanor.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Overnight shift experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $14.00/Hr. - $15.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
