Night Auditor- Part-Time
  • $18/hr.
  • Must be available weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Renaissance Allentown. The Night Auditor ensures the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours, balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest service, and addressing any late-night guest needs. Key Responsibilities:Guest Service: Welcome and assist late-arriving guests, ensuring an exceptional check-in and check-out experience. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. Respond promptly to guest requests and emergencies, coordinating with other departments as needed.Financial Responsibilities: Perform nightly financial reconciliations and audits to ensure all transactions are accurate and in compliance with hotel policies. Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, including revenue summaries and operational metrics. Post charges to guest accounts, such as room, dining, and other services.Administrative Tasks: Process and reconcile reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Complete the nightly end-of-day reporting and roll-over systems. Maintain accurate records of daily activity logs and communicate issues or notable events to management.Qualifications: Experience: Prior experience in hotel front office operations or night audit preferred. Familiarity with upscale or full-service hotel environments is a plus. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in hospitality management or related field preferred.Skills: Strong numerical and financial reconciliation skills. Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), such as Opera or similar platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain calm under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Availability: Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
