Job Description OPEN INTERVIEWS THURSDAY 10/24 @11:00AM-2:00PM *5335 WEST GENESEE STREET, CAMILLUS NY* Pay Range: $16.00- $16.70 *Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority* Our grocery aisles are the heart of each of our stores. We also like to showcase our weekly specials with creative themed displays and end caps. [External Description]: What You'll Do: The Grocery Clerk is responsible for provide friendly and attentive customer service as you ensure that product on the shelves is stocked and ready for customer purchase. You'll also help create and maintain product displays throughout the store, and ensure the backroom is organized and product is properly stored. You'll handle the stocking, rotating, cutting, and marking of product; ensuring proper shelf conditions and shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layouts and new/discontinued products; ensuring the backroom is clean and organized. If you're interested in bringing our customers the fresh-baked goodness of breads, rolls, cookies, muffins, and donuts...or preparing the perfect cake or pie for a special occasion, then the bakery is the place for you! What You'll Do: Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you follow recipes for baking items and frying donuts to ensure that best products are available for our customers. Job Requirements Skills/Experience Needed: Ideally, you'll have previous related retail experience. You'll need to be friendly and courteous in order to provide excellent customer service, as well as the ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations and operate the baler/compactor, pallet jacks, case cutter, and marking gun is also important. Night crew associates must be at least 18 years of age.
