This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.Perform routine custodial activities at an assigned school to maintain buildings, and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition.This position is 4.5 hours per day and 182 days per year.170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, 7 planning days and 1 extended Contracted days will be adjusted based upon start date. (Considered full time with benefits - see below)

Step 0: $14.05Step 10: $16.00New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks.
