Job Description:

THE PLAYER You are responsible for all functions of the Night Audit and overnight Bell/Valet operations, acting as Manager on Duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Responsible for protecting the interests of the Hotel, and its guests, during the overnight hours. EVERY DAY, YOU WILL •Oversee and maintain an effective Night Audit team, ensuring that all activities related to balancing the revenue and expense transactions of the hotel are completed accurately •Oversee and maintain all financial relationships with vendors within the hotel and District, including but not limited to, tracking and reconciliation of all charges incurred by hotel guests during their stay •Ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all standards are being applied •Responsible for guest service enrichment and recovery, as needed on overnight shift •Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction, as needed during the overnight shift •Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of new employees within the Night Audit team •Be knowledgeable of hotel policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures, as needed during the overnight shift •Make employment and termination recommendations including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining personnel as appropriate. •Always maintain a neat and clean professional appearance GHG24 Requirements YOU WILL BE GREAT AT HOTEL RENEGADE IFEducation High school or equivalent education required. Experience and/or Training The ability to handle cash as well as confidential information. Minimum of one year hospitality experience and/or supervisory experience. Language Skills Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Ability to read/write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate to managers and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Must possess basic computational ability. Technology/Equipment Requires the ability to operate various office equipment to include a computer, calculator, copier, scanner, and fax. Requires a working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Requires an attention to detail. Requires knowledge of company products. WHAT WE PREFEREducation Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or related field. Experience and/or Training Two to four years of experience in Front Desk, Guest Services and/or Housekeeping including at least two years management experience.
