DescriptionJob Title: Night Warehouse SelectorDepartment: WarehouseLocation: FoodPRO (Frederick, MD)Reports To: Night Warehouse ManagerSummary:FoodPRO is looking for a full-time Night Selector. The night selector is responsible for picking product in our warehouse using a voice pick headset system (BFC) and will help load trucks for the next day's deliveries. Night Selectors get paid an Incentive - Piece Pay Rate (averaging $25/hr); training pay is $16-$18 per hour (dependent on prior selecting experience). Criminal background checks and drug screens will be conducted prior to start date.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Select orders in an accurately, safe, and consistent way using an electric pallet jackSelecting pieces and building pallets for next day deliveriesStacking pallets correctlyWork well with other team membersMaintain per hour piece count while keeping error rate lowRequirementsEssential Qualifications:Must be 18 years or olderStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to understand and follow directionsStrong work skills and detail for task performingAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and physicalDesired Qualifications:Motorized pallet jack/rider experienceExperience working in a warehouseForklift experience is preferredPicking (selecting orders) experienceNight shift experienceEducation: High School Diploma or GEDPhysical Qualifications:Must be able to physically lift 75+ pounds of product safely.Must be able to physically operate warehouse equipmentMust be able to squat, bend, push and pull frequently and safely.Environment Details:Freezer, Cooler, and Dry Warehouse EnvironmentTemperatures varying from 0 to 75 degrees FahrenheitHours: 5 days/week; 4-5PM Start#J-18808-Ljbffr
