Job Title: Night Shift Defect Inspector Work Location: 257 Fuller Road, Albany, NY 12203 Position Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Background: The client is currently seeking a technician to work on Nights to support the Defect Inspection area. The Technician will work with the defect inspection engineers to build inspection and review recipes, assess and monitor tool performance, recover equipment and resolve tool errors, and train and work with Work Station Operators to process wafers through the inspection sector. The technician will be trained on equipment and software as needed. Job Duties: Job Duty 1 - Work with inspection equipment owners and vendors to setup defect inspections targeting key yield-detractors Job Duty 2 - Troubleshoot tool errors/issues and recover equipment where possible. Work with vendor on troubleshooting and tool recovery efforts. Job Duty 3 - Train and certify Operations team (WSO) on loading and running inspection equipment. Job Duty 4 - Provide efficient communication between vendors and internal customers, including pass downs to next shift. Required Experience: Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years' experience, where applicable, in each skill: Strong verbal and written skills required. bility to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with basic manufacturing and production concepts. Level of Education required: High School Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable: Preferred skills: Prior experience in semiconductor industry. (1+ years) Experience operating AMAT and KLA Defect Inspection tools (1+ years) Experience with inspection SEM defect review (1+ years) ssociates Degree Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable: 1) Preferred: Experience with advanced sub-micron semiconductor technology nodes. 2) Preferred: Experience with python and .tcl coding nticipated number of hours per week: IBM AWS schedule. 1st week: 48hrs /week 2nd week: 36 hrs/week Repeat Safety Requirements: Will share the training details post the candidate selection.
