Description
The Injection Mold Technician is responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of the injection molding processes and related equipment. The technician will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made to the equipment so that the processes run efficiently.
This position is being offered on the following shifts:
2nd Shift - 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including, but not limited to, set-up and tear-down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow.
* Working with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements and are produced in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
* Generating documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.
* Providing molded components in a timely manner in order to ensure production.
* Ensures all manufacturing safety standards are always followed.
* All job accountabilities and goals are subject to change with the needs of the business.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous experience in injection molding or food manufacturing environment.
* Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
* Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
* Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
* Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
