**Description**

The Night Shift Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the plant, which would include motivating employees to create a quality product in a teamwork environment. The Night Shift Manager should run an effective and efficient shift in both Texturing and Covering departments.

* Manage by example; demonstrating leadership and integrity to staff; providing regular and effective

performance feedback and opportunities for development; encouraging a work environment of fairness,

open communication and teamwork

* Motivate employees and give directional verbal communications in a respectful manner

* Maintain safety and housekeeping standards

* Monitor quality issues and labor costs within the area of responsibility and communicate these issues to the appropriate manager

* Communicate and support company policies, procedures, and philosophies

* Ensure employees have adequate supplies and operating equipment

* Complete all written communications in a timely manner, (PAFs, merit increases, job performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, etc.)

* Stop and start departmental operations as required

* **Communication** - High level of interpersonal skills and possess a team player mindset

* **Results-driven** - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.

* **Organization** - High level of attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

* **Collaboration** - Able to work and coordinate cross-functionally with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

* High School diploma /GED required

* Prior experience managing textile operations preferred

* Prior supervisory experience directing work assignments and forecasting employee needs preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint)
