Functional Analyst Expert

This Nimble Fire Senior IAMD Analyst will be responsible for understanding, interpreting, coordinating, and executing IAMD capabilities for the DOA and MDA at the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization's (JIAMDO's) Nimble Fire Modeling and Simulation events. This position will be responsible for assessing existing and emergent IAMD capabilities and providing subject matter expertise in IAMD Army and MDA systems, concepts, and issues including, but not limited to, fighter aircraft, surface-to-air missile systems, non-kinetic weapons, radar systems, kill chain analysis, operational planning, command and control relationships, and others. Specifically, as a Senior IAMD Analyst, this position will be providing direct support as a liaison with the Army and MDA and conducting planning/coordination to ensure accurate portrayal of current and future capabilities at Nimble Fire.

Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects

Evaluates emerging IAMD systems and enabling technologies to assess their capabilities effectiveness and robustness in an operational environment

Develops alternative analytical approaches to solve complex, not well-defined problems

Performs critical thinking and reasoning to provide comparative analysis that assess and delineate impacts of alternative courses of action

Deciphers complex solutions and prepare succinct results for presentation to DoD senior leaders for decision

Executes high quality, fully coordinated staff action packages meeting standards required for Joint Staff leadership decisions

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with planning, coordinating, and conducting IAMD analysis including identification of IAMD objectives, methodologies, MOEs & MOPs, and tools and preparation of IAMD analysis plans, analyses, analysis reports and briefings. Must have experience in technical and operational basis of Joint IAMD including understanding: Joint employment concepts/operational requirements and doctrine for conducting active IAMD against enemy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles.

Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI and SAP eligible.

Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
