2 years experience current required in ED/Urgent Care & Med-Surg experience required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTS: BLS and ACLS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.
SHIFTS: 12 hour nights shift position (starts at 1800) - Call: if needed - Weekends: as needed - Holidays: As needed Will float to Medical Unit and ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5 if needed.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility.
