OverviewPharmacist at the University Clinic Pharmacy located in the MHealth Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN. This position is based in a retail setting with a strong clinical focus, serving patients with complex disease states including oncology and infectious disease. Responsibilities Job Description
- Provide appropriate clinical care including patient counseling and prospective drug use evaluation to all patients receiving their medication therapy from the Pharmacy.
- Provide prescription drug therapy to patients/customers ensuring accurate labeling and dispensing of medications in a timely fashion.
- Assist site manager in training and supervision of pharmacy support personnel as necessary.
- Maintain proficiency in the skills and theory of the practice of pharmacy by reviewing literature, attending in-services, seminars and conferences.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a MN pharmacist license with experience in outpatient pharmacy embedded within a health system. Communication skills, interpersonal skills, adaptability are critical. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, to grow and develop as a pharmacist, and to be an integral part of a team are necessary. May consider qualified pharmacy new grads.
