Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Network Operations Center (NOC) technician, you will monitor and support network systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for handling escalations, managing trouble tickets, and working to resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring optimal network performance. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a first responder in the NOC, diagnosing and resolving network issues. - Monitor network performance and address alerts or faults. - Document activities and resolutions in the ticketing system. - Provide technical support for a range of network services. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve network-related issues. Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. - Experience with NOC operations and ticketing systems. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work varied shifts, including weekends. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and basic troubleshooting techniques. - Understanding of network protocols, equipment, and services. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus.
