UST is searching for a NOC Operator who will resolve enterprise trouble tickets within agreed SLA and raise problem tickets for permanent resolution and/or provide mentorship (Hierarchical or Lateral) to junior associates.The Opportunity:• Testing, locating and repairing simple to complex equipment and network problems, configuration faults, or interface problems with transport vendors.• This function may be called upon to work within all elements of network which includes, but is not limited to, platforms in the GSM, UMTS, or LTE Radio Access networks as well as IP networks, value added services, messaging platforms, and other system elements.• This role will mentor, direct, and train other technicians to develop their skills, including fault identification, isolation, and resolution as well as performing system upgrades and changes and verifying system operationThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need:• This role is a subject matter expert in complex telecommunications networks processes.• Knowledgeable in advanced remote network surveillance and first tier troubleshooting as well as network verification and change management.
