Anticipated Schedule: Veho's operating hours vary and are based on the needs of the operation. Warehouses typically have first, second, and third shifts and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the company and to changes in business needs. Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during their scheduled shift and is at the discretion of your manager if there is an opportunity to work off-site occasionally. About The Role: As a Ground Operations Driving Lead at Veho you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross-functional teams orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners. You will also be responsible for driving a truck to and from Alexandria, VA. A typical day will consist of between 4 to 5 hours of driving and 5 to 6 hours of conducting a driver launch in Richmond, VA, any other necessary warehouse tasks, and supervising employees for those operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Quickly navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re-routes and other logistical challenges with ease and efficiency.
- Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations prioritizing safety and driving success.
- Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.
- Execute with a focus on customer service providing high levels of support and assistance to our crowd-sourced driver partners and internal teams.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment that is at times physically tasking.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.
- Stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down bend and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.
- Safely load and unload a truck.
- Operate a 26' box truck, or smaller, daily.
- Maintain high safety standards in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics operations management or a related field is preferred.
- Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.
- Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.
- Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends as required by operational needs.
- Have a track record of dependability and safe driving.
- Be comfortable driving both days and nights, and in possible inclement weather.
- Ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 25 years old.
- A clean driving record.
- Valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Experience driving a 26' box truck.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Able to pass a DOT Background and medical check.
- Able to pass a driving exam.
